If you’re looking to make a change into a nursing career, you may find yourself faced with the need to make up undergraduate-level science courses. In fact, 90% of our ABSN graduates completed at least one prerequisite course at GMercyU. Taking these courses outside of a degree program can be difficult to manage if you work full-time, thanks to the required laboratory components. However, thanks to Gwynedd Mercy University’s in-home laboratory experiences, you can now take many of the important foundational courses you need entirely online.
Our instructor-led prerequisite courses include in-home laboratory experiences component designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge you need in the sciences. Thanks to new interactive technology, you can make concrete connections between science theory and clinical applicability. Best of all, you can pursue these courses on a more flexible and convenient schedule that fits with your work and family responsibilities.
Admission Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions, including an unofficial High School transcript.
- Earned a bachelor’s degree program at a regionally-accredited college or university.
Online Health Science Courses
All of our courses cost $350 per credit hour and are led by instructors who will emphasize the health-related aspects of each topic. Unless noted, each class lasts eight weeks.
