Curriculum and Instruction Supervisor Certification
Design and deliver programs of study capable of reaching the 21st-century student. This 30-credit program covers curriculum design, integration of educational technology, assessment, and more. Applicants must have a related master’s degree and at least five years of full-time teaching experience.

K-12 Principal Certification
Equip yourself to become a change agent capable of creating safe and welcoming school environments where academic achievement can flourish. This 30-credit program includes practicum experience. Applicants to this program must have at least three years of full-time teaching experience on a Pennsylvania Instructional I Certificate and hold a master’s degree in an education-related field.

PreK-4 Certification
Become a teacher and prepare to work with the earliest learners. The PreK-4 Certification option equips you to support the development of literacy and numeracy, and also covers foundations of inclusive instruction for children with special educational needs. To apply for this certification pathway, you will need a master’s degree in any field.

PreK-12 Special Education Certification
Learn practical skills for supporting exceptional learners in the classroom. This 25-credit program covers teaching strategies, behavioral management, policy, law, research skills, and more. Applicants to this program must hold a master’s degree and an Instructional I Certificate in another area.

Secondary Education Certification
Prepare to inspire middle and high school students (grades 7-12) in biology, English, mathematics, or social studies. To apply for this certification option, you will need to have completed a master’s degree plus coursework related to your chosen subject area.

Supervisor of Special Education Certification
Move from classroom instruction to program direction with our 15-credit certification option. This program equips you to develop and direct special education programs in public and private schools, adult education settings, and more. Applicants must have a master’s degree in a related field. Those seeking to serve in Pennsylvania public schools must also have a minimum of five years of teaching experience.

Superintendent Certification (Letter of Eligibility)
Advance from school leadership to district-wide leadership with our Superintendent Certification (Letter of Eligibility) program for experienced K-12 administrators. This 24-credit program covers advanced financial management and education law in a flexible online format that includes practicum experience. Applicants must hold a master’s degree in education and, if seeking certification in Pennsylvania, must also have at least three years of full-time teaching experience.
