This 48-credit program equips you to support K-12 students with personal challenges, academic issues, and planning for the future. Graduates will be eligible to pursue certification as school counselors in Pennsylvania.*

The post-master’s school counseling certification program enrolls new students twice a year, each spring and fall.

Applicants for admission to the Post-Master’s School Counseling Certification program must meet the following requirements:
Estimated 2024-2025 costs: $750 per credit hour

Our school counseling certification program helps you take your first step on your certification journey. Our program is designed to meet the licensure requirements of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If you reside in another state, you should carefully review your home state’s licensure requirements prior to enrolling in one of our counseling programs.
