Goals of Concentration in Transportation Leadership

The MBA with a concentration in Transportation Leadership is a rigorous, 30-credit graduate degree program in business. It teaches key business skills in the MBA core, plus specialized knowledge in the effective management of transportation organizations and human capital management. Courses are offered one at a time in seven-week blocks.

The program consists of seven core MBA courses and three specialization courses. Course topics in the MBA core include:

Who Can Apply

This MBA degree program is open to graduates of a bachelor’s degree program at a regionally-accredited college or university. Applicants should have a preferred 3.0 GPA.

Students whose bachelor’s degree did not include significant business coursework may take up to six one-credit foundation courses that teach critical knowledge in areas such as accounting, marketing, and statistics. The foundation courses provide knowledge that is necessary for success in graduate-level MBA courses.

Applicants who fall just below the minimum GPA requirement (2.7-2.9 GPA) may request a review of their application by the program director. However, acceptance of an application for review does not guarantee admission into the program.
