Doctor of Nursing Practice Virtual Open House
Wednesday, November 4, 2015
7:00 – 8:00 p.m. EST
Nursing needs practicing clinicians capable of providing leadership at the highest levels. Gwynedd Mercy University’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program builds on the skills of advanced practice RNs like you to equip you for the most challenging experiences—and exciting opportunities—the nursing profession has to offer.
If you’re a clinical nurse specialist, nurse practitioner, certified nurse midwife, or other advanced practice nurse, attend our upcoming virtual open to learn how our DNP:
- Enhances your capabilities as a practicing clinician
- Equips you to become a more effective advocate for patients and the profession
- Extends your ability to evaluate research for an evidence-based approach to your work
Presenters: Dr. Denise Vanacore and Jennifer Roski
During the open house, our program director Dr. Denise Vanacore (Ph.D., CRNP, ANP-BC, PMHNP-BC) will talk in depth about the program’s goals and curriculum. Dr. Vanacore is currently the Director of the Primary Care Health Services at the Adult Health Center in Lansdale, PA, and serves as Chair of the AANP national taskforce on depression and anxiety in primary care. Her experience as a clinician and national leader makes her uniquely qualified to describe the possibilities available to you as a GMercyU DNP graduate.
You will also hear from Jennifer Roski, our Director of Enrollment. She will discuss the program requirements and the admissions process for nursing graduate students at GMercyU. She’ll explain how our Admissions Department will work with you every step of the way, from registering your interest, to making your application, to enrollment and beyond.
